makeup post. a let down.

i read a lot of makeup blogs everyday.. and am always lured into all these brands. but picking who to buy from always lets me down.. i realized i am horrible at choosing the good brands..
when mineral eyeshadow exploded (for me it was about 2-3 years ago) i kept hearing things about fyrinnae and taylor made.. i chose taylor made!! why did i do that!!! i threw em all away already. but have yet to try fyrinnae.

then i tried the all natural face.. another bad choice.. it looked so promising. i ordered specifically for the "seal-it" and concealer. both were horrible. seal it was basically just water and the concealer in "salmon" supposedly for medium skin was fuckin purple on my skin. excuse my language but why the fuck is it purple? is it just me?

after saying screw all these online companies i made my way back.. i ordered from sobe botanicals and meow.  i tried sobe botanicals foundation once but never had a chance to wear it again because i found my exact match in meow cosmetics.. 
meow cosmetics-  the eyeshadows dont really appeal to me for some reason.. i dunno.. and shipping took sooooo long!.. but its the only foundation i found my exact match in.. i really love it.. and im a liquid foundation gal.

sobe botanicals have been the best so far.  the cheek&lip color in cherry pie is wicked. swatch coming soon.
so thats been my whole makeup fiasco..

i cant get anything done.

my son learned how to roll. and now hes rolling everywhere.. i need a playpen or something.. he rolling into tables and couches, picking up and eating everything. i have no time to do anything!!!

new idea.

i now decided to make some baby stuff. itll probably be listed in the same store just because it'll be really limited. cant wait to start. i wish i could just focuse on one thing but things just keep popping up in my head. first i planned on making strictly headbands then i said screw headbands and made necklaces and necklaces were fun but a lot of work. and i couldnt brainstorm anything that was very new and different. somehow an idea of baby clothes hit me last night. we'll see how it goes.

some headbands.

i made these headbands on a whim and they turned out way better than i ever expected it to be. i really like these because you can lay the bow flat on your head or up standing and move it left or right. also, its not just a piece of yarn i crocheted for the band part. i see a bunch of those, where you just tie it in the back and thought it looked tacky. it is solid and sturdy with metal base. i was planning on making a bunch of these but got so lazy. more will be coming though. at a slow and steady pace.

pearl bow

so here is a beaded faux pearl necklace with crochet bow. so much labor of love was put into this piece. waaaaaay more than any other piece i made.

I'm about 99% done and am so proud of it which is why it is the first piece I'm posting up.
i wont sell anything unless i feel 100 percent about its quality.. s0o i cant say when i will be done. hopefully soon.

my first post.

Hello All!!!!
My First blog post! I will be posting pictures of some jewelry that I make and some vintage and reconstructed clothing here. You can later purchase these things when I have a bunch to offer. I don't like to see lonely stores so I'm waiting until I have about 10 or something. Or whenever I feel like it.
I'll post an update when things are for sale and the link you can buy it from when it is available.
A little more about me-
I'm a young new mommy and that is my full time job. I make jewelry and some other random stuff whenever I get a break.  So don't think I'm really slow and laggy at these things. I do it in my spare time! I make everything once and only once because I hate doing the same thing twice. It feels like I'm a robot!
Everything is 100 percent handmade  hand sewn hand everything.
